Wednesday, February 4 - The Friendship Connection is serving up Free Lunch Wednesday  from noon to 2 PM at their location 252 S Main Street, Adams (entrance in the back). Bring a dish or dessert if you wish. Everyone is welcome.  For more information call Deb at 608-339-6810.    
  
Thursday, February 5 - The Adams Community Theatre will be showing a Free Movie at 6:30 PM. This 2014 romance stars James Marsden and Michelle Monaghan and is rated PG-13. A pair of former high school sweethearts reunite after many years when they return to visit their small hometown.

Friday, February 6 - The Adams Community Theatre will be showing a No School Matinee at 1 PM. This 2014 animated feature stars the voice talents of Zoe Saldana and Channing Tatum and is rated PG. Manolo, a young man who is torn between fulfilling the expectations of his family and following his heart, embarks on an adventure that spans three fantastic worlds where he must face his greatest fears.
Saturday, February 7 - A Chocolate Affair hosted by Friends of the Library will be held from 10 AM - 2 PM at A-F Middle School. Crafts, food, music & raffles. Benefits Adams County Library. For more information call 608-339-7262.

Saturday, February 7 - The Adams County Library will hold a Lego Event starting at 10 AM at the Library (569 N Cedar St, Adams). All ages are welcome to this FREE event. Open to boys and girls. Saturday, February 7 - The Ground Hog Antique & Vintage Snowmobile Show and Ride will be held at The Cedar Shack (2248 Highway 13, Adams). Registration is at 10 AM and judging 1 PM.  For more information call Todd Stammen 608-548-3745

Saturday, February 7 - Rome SnoBandit Snowmobile Poker Run Finale will be held from 11 AM to 3 PM at Trails End Bar & Grill in Rome. For more information go to www.romesnobandits.com.

Monday, February 9 - The Friendship Connection will hold a Wellness & Recovery Support Group from 11 AM-12 PM at their location 252 S Main Street, Adams (entrance in the back). This is a casual group led by volunteers. Everyone is welcome. For more information contact

Thursday, February 12 - A Blood Drive for the Blood Center of Wisconsin will be held from 11 AM to 4 PM at the Friendship Village Hall (507 W Lake St). The BloodCenter of Wisconsin is the only provider of blood to Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics. To make an appointment call Tammy at 608-339-8328. Walk-ins are welcome. Thursday, February 12 - The Adams Community Theatre will be showing a Free Movie at 6:30 PM. This 2014 crime thriller stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Bill Paxtom and is rated R. A driven man muscles into the world of crime journalism and blurs the line between observer and participant.

Friday, February 13 - The Friendship Connection will host a Mental Health Listening Session from 1:30-3:30 PM at their location (252 S Main Street, Adams - entrance in back). The Friendship Connection, Inc. and Adams County Human Services are partnering with Grassroots Empowerment Project to bring community members together to learn more about our state's mental health system and system changes.  This is a great opportunity for the community to ask questions and voice opinions about services they've received and changes they'd like to see.
Who should attend:  Community members who use mental health services, and their family members.  People interested in addressing prevention of mental health and substance use challenges.  Persons who have a strong stake and interest in civic engagement of under-represented communities. Light refreshments will be served.

Friday, February 13 - Grand Marsh American Legion Post 273 Monthly Meeting will be held starting at 7 PM.

Friday - Sunday, February 13-15 - Lake Arrowhead's 19th Annual SnoBlast Winter Carnival will be held in Rome. Friday night's events include paddle wheel drawings, live music by Bob Allen from Rebel One. On Saturday take part in Snow Disc Golf, Carnival Games for the kids, a magic show, Ice Sculpting Demo, Silent Auction, Raffle Drawings, Cornhole* and Lawn Mower Races and a Snow Fireworks Display and Live Music by Relentless. Sunday, February 15 - Faith in Action of Adams County will hold a Mardi Gras Event from 2-5 PM at the Cedar Shack. Music, costume contest, cake walk, dance lessions, kids activities, trivia contest, 50/50 raffle and more. Cost is Adults $8, kids (12 and under) $4 and 4 and under are free!
Costumes are optional but recommended.
Sunday, February 15 - The Adams Community Theatre will host their monthly Play Reading Circle at 3 PM. This month's selection is "Play It Again Sam" - a 1969 Broadway play written by Woody Allen.
