The Adams-Friendship FFA is holding their Annual FFA Fruit Sale. Items include oranges, grapefruit, clemetines, pears, pineapple, mixed citrus, onions, various nuts, popcorn and more. Orders are due by November 10. For more information contact Becky Grabarski at 608-339-3921 ext. 1140. 

Wednesday, October 29 - The Friendship Connection is serving up Free Lunch Wednesday from noon to 2 PM at their location 252 S Main Street, Adams (entrance in the back). Bring a dish or dessert if you wish. Everyone is welcome. For more information call Deb at 608-339-6810.   

Thursday, October 30 - The Friendship Connection will hold a Substance Use Support Group from 1-2 PM at their location 252 S Main Street, Adams (entrance in the back). This is a casual group led by peers. Everyone is welcome. For more information contact Dan Schultz at 608-339-6810. 

Thursday, October 30 - The Adams Community Theatre will present a Free Movie at 6:30 PM. This 2014 horror movie sequel stars Frank Grillo and is rated R. No one under 17 will be admitted without a parent or guardian. 

Friday, October 31 - The City of Adams and Village of Friendship will hold Trick-or-Treating Hours from 4-7 PM. Please remember to keep your front light on to indicate you are receiving Trick-or-Treaters. Have a safe and fun Halloween!

Friday, October 31 - A Children's Halloween Party will be held at the Rome Town Hall from 6-8 PM.  For more information call 715-325-8013. 
Saturday, November 1 - Dyracuse Park and the Monroe Prairie ATV Rec Trails close for the season.  

Saturday, November 1 - The Annual HCE Holiday Harvest Fest will be held from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM at A-F Middle School. Crafts, food & refreshments. For more information call 608-339-4237 or go to http://adams.uwex.edu.   

Saturday, November 1 - A Live Performance of Night of The Living Dead by the "Everything and Nothing" student performers will be held at 1 and 7 PM at the Adams Community Theatre.

Sunday, November 2 - American Legion Post 250 will meet at 1:00 PM at St. Joseph Educational Center on State Street in Adams.

Monday, November 3 - The Friendship Connection will hold a Wellness & Recovery Support Group from 11 AM-12 PM at their location 252 S Main Street, Adams (entrance in the back). This is a casual group led by volunteers. Everyone is welcome. For more information contact 608-339-6810.

Tuesday, November 4 - The Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church will be hosting a Harvest Dinner at the church on Election Day. Menu includes roast loin of pork, applesauce, mashed potatos and gravy, corn, coleslaw, rolls, coffee and homemade pies. Serving lunch from 11 AM to 1 PM and dinner from 5-7 PM. Cost is $7 for adults, $3.50 for kids 10 and under and preschool is free. For more information call 608-564-7920.

Adams County Running/Walking Club (ACRC)

Thursday, November 6 - Women's Night Out will be held at the Adams-Friendship High School. Women's Night Out opens at 4:15 PM with dinner, a vendor fair and table raffles. All will be offered until the presentations begin at 6:15 PM. his year's keynote presentation is "The Freak Factor - Discovering Uniqueness by Flaunting Weakness" by David Rendall.   Do you wish you could change something about yourself?  Are you too loud or too quiet; too organized or too messy?  According to Rendall, your weaknesses are actually the best clues to your strengths.  Rendall's entertaining and informative presentation will encourage you to become more of who you are, not to turn into someone else. Thursday, November 6 -The Adams Community Theatre will present a Free Movie at 6:30 PM. This 2014 fantasy stars Angelina Jolie as a popular fairy tale villain and is rated PG.
Friday, November 7 - The Sand County Players Fall Production of Guys On Ice will begin performances at the Dellwood Pavilion. Tickets can be purchased at Carole's Fashion Delights at 248 S Main Street in Adams. Other performances are Saturday, November 8 and Thursday-Sunday, November 13-16. Saturday, November 8 - A Special Program to Honor All Veterans will be held at 2 PM at the Adams County Heritage Center (311 Main Street, Friendship). A presentation on Wisconsin's Richard Bong, a top American Ace of WWII and Medal of Honor Recipient will be given by Tomas J. Thomas, retired USAF Comman Pilot and director of the Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame. Sponsored by the Adams County Historical Society and the Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame.
